The Upper Township Business Association was formed in 2010 with the purpose of encouraging and supporting business and community prosperity by promoting economic programs designed to strengthen and enhance the opportunities of all businesses in the township. Our goal is to identify and address obstacles that are detrimental to the business climate and community growth. We actively support civic, social and cultural programs designed to increase the functional and aesthetic values of the community.
We believe in neighbors helping neighbors, because when local government, businesses, community groups and residents support each other, everyone benefits.
The UTBA holds regular membership meetings and mixers. Please visit our events section for details about upcoming events. Our members represent the many businesses, restaurants, services and shops in our township. Interested in becoming a member? See our membership tab for an application. Full membership is open only to businesses in Upper Township. A limited number of Associate memberships are offered to businesses in our surrounding area. Want to check us out? Feel free to attend any of our meetings to learn more about how the UTBA can promote your business.

Buy Local…It Pays
Here’s why:
Support Yourself: Several studies have shown that when you buy from an independent, locally owned business, rather than a nationally owned business, significantly more of your money is used to make purchase from other local businesses. 73 cents of every dollar spend locally stays within the community. Whereas only 43 cents of every dollar spent at a national chain stays within the community.
Non-profit organizations receive an average 250% more support from small business owners than they do from large business owners
Keep our community unique: Where we shop, where we eat & have fun – all of it makes our community home
Create more jobs: Small local businesses are the largest employer nationally and in our community, and provide the most jobs to residents. Support local business – many of those businesses will be hiring your children this summer?
The Upper Township Business Association urges you to Shop Local!
